Benefits of Sport for Kids
We frequently see news reports on the fundamental benefits sport provides kids. As well as the ever increasing health benefits and obvious merit a child gains from taking up a sport, it also brings with it a whole host of advantages; from learning essential teamwork skills, developing strong relationships, communicating better and teaching kids respect.
These are some of the skills our coaches look for within our athletes and joining a team from a young age is quintessential for any young athlete to teach not only the basic athletic skills in any sport but also sportsmanship and working well with others. At HQNINE we pride ourselves on the authenticity of each of our athletes, something that shines through on their bio’s and has helped them gain the career they have today. The founder of HQNINE, Shaun Lunt was involved in sport from an early age and this is something he has urged his own kids to get involved in. Shaun started playing rugby league for the pure love of the sport and the great atmosphere surrounding it. It took getting scouted and playing in a real team to elevate him to the next level as a rugby player.
As we are still at the beginning of the school year, we are urging parents to get their kids involved in a sport TODAY! Regardless of whether it’s with their school or local teams, one day they might have a career to be thankful for. If you child has already started playing and is looking to join a more professional team, then why not sign them up to HQ9.co.uk and allow them to be scouted from a young age and watch their career flourish.
